Corinne Everson was killed on the 4th. Born on 1 January 1958 in Racine, Wisconsin, USA, in the spirit of Capricorn and with American citizenship – she is popular in her bodybuilding career and also as an actress. Childhood and education

Corey was born into a family of athletes where Mommy and Daddy mastered several sports – she didn’t mention them to avoid media attention, but repeatedly stated that they can be traced back to the birth of her passion for training. Cory didn’t say she had any brothers or sisters, so most of her admirers consider her an only child.

As soon as she entered primary school, she started gymnastics, which made her an enthusiastic gymnast and treadmill runner, while she was also very good at badminton. She was a fairly popular high school student who went to Deerfield, Illinois, for her good looks and commitment to the sport.

After graduating high school, Cory went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison and graduated four years later.

Bodybuilder career

After graduation, Cory went to the gym and focused on lifting weights. In 1980 she participated in her first contest – Miss Middle America – and in 1981 she competed in the IFBB North American Bodybuilding Championship. The match didn’t go as planned because Corey was taken to hospital with severe pain in her left leg – she was diagnosed with clots and almost had to have her leg amputated.

This did not prevent her from taking part in thirteen shows over the next three years and winning eight. In 1984 she took part in the national competitions of the NPC and won, qualifying for the 1984 Miss Olympia.

Corey shone in 1984 in the Miss Olympia and won the race, making him another victory in the next five years. She is the only person in the history of women’s bodybuilding who has never lost to Miss Olympia – after her last competition in 1989 she decided not to compete.

It was included in the IFBB Hall of Fame in 1999, at 5. In September 2005 she was admitted to the Muscular Beach Bodybuilding Hall of Fame in Venice; in 2007 she received the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Arnold Classic, the first woman to win this award. In 2008 he was admitted to the National Fitness Hall of Fame.

Cory may be a popular bodybuilder, but she is nowhere on the Ranker website’s list of the most famous bodybuilders to date.

Cory’s acting career

As soon as she stopped competing in 1989, Cory turned to the theatre. His first major role was in the film Double Stroke, which was shot in 1991 with Jean-Claude Van Dam. She then starred in the film Born Killers, shot in 1994, then in the film by Ballistics in 1995.

She also played in several series, including Hercules: The legendary journeys and adventures of Briscoe Jr. County. But only a few episodes – she was on the Tell the Truth quiz show in 1991.

Cory is the producer and host of her own fitness show BodyShaping and has written six books, including Beauty Power Training, Volume 3, 1986, Superflex: Olympia’s guide to creating a strong, sexual body in 1987 and back in uniform in 1991.

Love life and relationships

Corey is more or less secretive when it comes to her love life because she has said little about the men she has met in the past – she has been married twice and some details of her marriage are known.

Cory met her ex-husband Jeff Everson when she was at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Jeff worked at university as a power coach and was a competitive coachbuilder, which made Cory fall in love with him – in 1982 they exchanged vows and opened their own mail-order clothing store called Sampson and Delilah. Both have adopted a Russian child and are active members of Christian Adoptions at Night, an organization that brings children from Russia and Belarus to the United States for adoption. They divorced in 1996 for unknown reasons, but Cory decided to keep Everson as the stage name.

In 1998 she married Dr. Steve Donya, who works as a cosmetic dentist – they have two children, both adopted from Russia.

Leisure and other interests

Corey has always loved bodybuilding, and has spent most of her free time at the gym, but she has other interests.

Cori has loved boxing since childhood and had the chance to meet Mohammed Ali, who is considered one of the best boxers of all time. Between 20 and 30 years she was an avid traveller. She travelled through most of the United States and visited Europe and Asia, but not Africa – she loved spending time on boats and used them as her main means of transport.

Corey is a very religious person – she believes in God and goes to church every week. She is a great animal lover and has worked with several animal shelters over the years. She has also worked on farms that took injured or seriously injured animals that were originally intended to be euthanised.
