Beginning of life, modelling and launch of television
Megan was born in Florida, but her family moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she grew up. During the finals of the show she stopped after she heard that the former participants would come back to evaluate the three finalists. She didn’t want to be judged with pleasure, said she was only there to have fun, not to fight for the money.
She also knew she would be the target of this jury because she used different tactics during the show to outsmart her opponents.

Megan’s next TV project was aired on VH1 Love Rock: The charm school, which was attended by former Love Rock candidates. The principle of the show is that these participants have to learn the right etiquette to have a chance of winning $100,000. She finished 10th in a fight with presenter Sharon Osborne during the show. She then sued Osborne after the hostess pulled her hair out in response to Megan’s humiliating remarks.
She also appeared on VH1’s Great Debate, where she talked about the past and current problems of pop culture. Other programmes include the swimsuit calendar on the reality TV channel The Sexiest Women of Reality TV and Bad Costumes, broadcast on Playboy TV. Hauserman is a professional golfer and entrepreneur, Derren Edward. They live in Boca Raton and have a child. She admitted that she wanted to start a family, but that she still wanted to work in television. Since the birth of his child, his television appearances have been rather sporadic.
She had another project with VH1, which was cancelled after three episodes titled Megan wants millionaire, when one of the members of the series, Ryan Jenkins, was suspected of the murder of model Jasmine Fiore. The victim was strangled, brutally beaten, and found in a suitcase in a California garbage can. The body was so mutilated that it was unrecognizable, but the authorities discovered its identity through the serial numbers of the breast implants.
Suspect Jenkins started acting strangely after the body was found and left his apartment with a gun. He wanted to move to Canada, but the Canadian authorities had already warned him. He fled by boat to various locations and eventually arrived in Point Roberts, Canada, where he met his half-sister and checked into a motel. The next three days the motel was quiet and after he could not leave, it was discovered that he had committed suicide.
