Everyone who knows Eminem knows his ex-wife, and the supposed love of his life is Kimberly Scott, who is still called Kim. Their relationship was the source of many rumors, gossip and headlines throughout their lives, as well as the inspiration for dozens of songs Marshall Mathers wrote during his 20-year musical career.
Childhood and family
Kimberly Ann Scott was killed on the 9th. Born in January 1975 in Warren, Michigan, USA – she has American nationality and her distinctive sign – the Capricorn. Kim was born with her twin sister Don, her mother Kathleen Scott – her biological father’s name is unknown, while her stepfather’s name is Casimer Slack.
When Kim and Dawn were about four years old, their father left them and Kathleen found another partner, Casimer, who soon started living in their house. But Casimir and Kathleen were both alcoholics, and their shared passion for drinking led to Kim and Don running away at the age of 13. Kim said in numerous interviews that they had escaped unbearable domestic violence.
Education
Kim graduated from Warren’s Lincoln High School where she met her future husband, Marshall Mathers, now known as Emin. He dropped out of school at the age of 17 while Kim graduated but never went to college. During her final school year, Kim lived in a caravan with Eminem and her mother Deborah, who agreed to live with a young girl.
First marriage to Eminem
In 1989 Kim started dating Eminem after meeting each other several times at school and at parties of their mutual friends. After Kim was pulled into Eminem’s trailer at the age of 14, they lived together for six years until their 25th birthday. His daughter Haley Jade was born in December 1995. Scandals and quarrels became more and more common and in 1996 Kim dropped Eminem and Hailey in her arms and found a studio, while Eminem stayed with his mother. Within a year the two men resumed their lives together and then married in 1999, apparently in the hope that the marriage license would keep them together, but they separated again in 2000 and were divorced in 2001.

All Eminem fans got a detailed picture of what happened in their private lives when the horror movie Kim was released in 2000. It was recorded in 1999 and tells the story of Kim Aminem’s case. In the lyrics of the song, Eminem, after putting his daughter to bed, accuses his wife of making love to her lover. Eminem then describes in the lyrics of the song how Eminem beats his unfaithful wife, puts her in the trunk, drives her into the forest and after his failed escape attempt catches and kills Kim and buries her there. After hearing the song on Eminem’s show in Detroit, where she happened to show up, Kim sued for $10 million.
She filed for divorce a few days before coming to the show, so Eminem was sure she just wanted to find another reason to get more money from him.
Eminem wrote a few other songs about his relationship with Kim, but they weren’t so dark and depressing. The first was called Searchin and was on his first album Infinite (1996), the second was called 97 Bonnie and Clyde and was on his second album The Slim Shady LP (1999). Critics were very cautious when writing this song, just to acknowledge the strength of Eminem’s feelings for Kim, because he wrote such a depressing, aggressive and emotionally unstable song that always ends with the words : I don’t want to go on living in this world without you.
Secondary cases, three biological children plus one adopted child
While Kim was away from Eminem, she had several relationships with other men. One of them was her mutual friend, John Guerrera, whom she kissed in the parking lot and whom Emin witnessed. Despite the fact that Kim and Eminem weren’t together at the time, he threw himself on Kim’s lover and hit him with a gun, which led to his arrest and release. The episode was then mentioned in Eminem’s song Sing For The Moment: You’re full of nonsense too, Guerrera. It’s the fist that hits you. He portrayed that in the Kiss sketch.
From her short relationship with Eric Hartter, she gave birth to his daughter Whitney Scott.
Eric stayed away from Kim and his daughter, and when Eminem and Kim got back together, Eminem officially adopted Whitney. Kim also has a son named Parker Scott, from her other affair with a man whose name is unknown. When his sister Dawn died of an overdose, Kim and Eminem adopted Dawn’s daughter, Alana Marie Scott, who now lives with Eminem and his two sisters, whom he cares for completely.

Haley Jade was killed on the 25th. She was born in December 1995 and her father had a tattoo on her right shoulder at the age of four. She is currently developing her modelling career. She graduated with a BA in Psychology from Chippewa Valley High School in 2014 and from Michigan State University in 2018.
Since 2019 she is supposed to be engaged to her ex-boyfriend Evan McClintock, whom she met in college.
Hayley is often mentioned in her father’s songs – one of which is The Mockingbird Lullaby, in which Eminem admits that as a child he didn’t have enough time to spend with his daughter, but that he did his best to earn as much money as possible to make him as comfortable as possible: Haley, I know you miss mommy, and I know you miss daddy / Well, I’m gone, but I’m trying to give you a life I never had / I can see that you’re sad even when you laugh / I can see it in your eyes, deep inside you want to cry /
Second marriage to Eminem
In 2006 Kim married Eminen for the second time.
She said she agreed to the ceremony because the wedding is scheduled for the 15th. She planned to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their relationship, but she didn’t want to sign any documents, ask Eminem not to issue a marriage license because she thought they were getting divorced again, and she didn’t want her children to go through the divorce process. But Eminem insisted on signing the documents and… left the country within a month and filed for divorce.
Addiction, suicide attempt
Since 2002, Kim seems to be heavily addicted to drugs, cocaine and drink-driving, while her husband has problems with prescription drugs such as Vicodin and Valium. Kim’s sister, Dawn, died of a drug overdose in 2016, but it had little effect on Kim. In 2015, she is said to have attempted suicide by taking a pile of pills and cocaine and driving her car straight into a pole: It was on purpose, I was at the end of the road where I didn’t know anyone would get hurt but me.
Yeah, I got drunk, took some pills and pointed at the pole. She also admitted that she did it because she was lonely and had left no one by her side, even though she had enough money to pay the bills and buy the children everything they asked for, but it made no sense to her.
Appearance
Kim has half-long light brown hair and blue eyes, but due to long-term drug use her hair and skin look very old. A Kim is 1.74 m (5 feet) tall and weighs about 68 kg (150 lbs).

Kim reportedly has more than $2 million in net assets from her two Eminem husbands. From 2019, its net value is estimated at around USD 230 million.
