Arms transactions
In 2005 Pakuz and his business partner Ephraim Diweryoli decided to enter the arms trade. At that time the estate was run by a small group of businessmen who were very close to each other.

Beginning of life
Pacuz was born in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Louis to Kalman and Shoshana Pacuz. His father was a rabbi who founded one of the first Jewish dating services in the world. David was one of nine children.
When he was young, Pacuz moved to Miami Beach and trained as a masseur. This is exactly what he did in 2005 when his friend Diverelli offered him a new venture.
Diweroli inherited the arms business from his father, AEY Inc. Diweroli offered Pacuz a job in the company and invited him to participate in a large-scale arms deal.
Success came quickly
Your new company took off like a rocket ship. Shortly after the founding of the company, they received their first assignment.
This was an American government contract for the supply of 50,000 litres of propane to the Wyoming air base. In that first transaction, they won $8,000.
It may not seem like much, but it was just the beginning. In just a few months, they have signed more than 100 contracts for the supply of ammunition and weapons to the U.S. government, for a total value of $100 million.
In 2006, they signed a $300 million contract to supply 100 million bullets from AK-47s, 100 million bullets from sniper rifle cartridges and hundreds of aircraft missiles to the Afghan military. They rolled in money and there seemed to be no end to it.
Arrest and Case
Unfortunately, the ammunition they supplied to Afghanistan was produced in China. This was a violation of U.S. law, which prohibits the sale of ammunition or weapons made in China.
The use of Chinese ammunition was in violation of the AEY treaty with the government. In a subsequent investigation, the state inspectors discovered that Pakuzu knew where the ammunition came from and took measures to hide it.
In 2008, Pacuz and Divereoli were arrested and charged with conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government.
Pakuz was convicted and placed under house arrest for seven months. Diweroli was sentenced to four years in prison.
The arrest led to an investigation by the Committee on Government Oversight and Reform of the U.S. House of Representatives.
This investigation showed that the government had already terminated several contracts with AEY before the arrest for late delivery, non-delivery or delivery of dangerous goods.
Current status
When his house arrest was over, Pacuz was held under house arrest. He has always been interested in music and in 2008 he released the album MicroCOSM.
In 2009 he invented the Beat Buddy, an instrument that helps musicians play better. He is the CEO of Singular Sound, a company that sells Beat Buddy.

In 2016 he created the Guitar on Arms organisation. The organisation provides free musical material to schools and teaches music, dance and visual arts to children from poor families and children at risk.
